According to a Canadian study, voting for a pro-climate candidate has 162 times the climate impact of a year of recycling.

In this clip, climate scientist Dr Kimberly Nicholas breaks down why voting is the highest-impact climate action most people overlook, and we meet Kate, a volunteer with the @EnvironmentalVoterProject , who's hand-writing 200 postcards to get lapsed voters back to the polls this November for the midterm elections in the United States.

Since 2015 the Environmental Voter Project has contacted 12.8 million non-voting and seldom-voting environmentalists, and converted over 2.2 million into consistent voters.
