With the U.S midterms around the corner, voting for pro-environmental or climate action candidates is a high impact climate action, up to 162 times more effective than recycling, according to research cited on the episode.

Register and make a plan to vote
Identify the climate leaders on your ballot, using tools like the League of Conservation Voters scorecard
Expand the climate vote by helping others register and turn out too
They use Kate's own representative, Donald Beyer, as a real example, checking his voting record, his pledge on NoFossilFuelMoney.org, and his funding on OpenSecrets.org.
